    Me and my fiancé are flipping a house to live in asap. I messaged Matt about putting LVP in our whole house. He was super prompt on getting back with me AND getting the work done. He started within a week of me messaging him and got the job done in 4 days. He works hard and always kept us up to date on the schedule. His work is amazing too. Our floor looks so good and he helped us pick the flooring color! We will definitely use him when we flip more houses!! See more See less

    Matt installed tile in the bathroom of one of our short term rentals that is almost 120 years old. This created some unique challenges. Matt handled it without any trouble at all. He was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, clearly communicated during the whole process and the outcome exceeded my expectations! The bathroom looks phenomenal! We will absolutely use Pierce Contracting for future projects and would recommend them to anyone who asks! See more See less

    We have encountered 2 yrs of nightmares hiring contractors for a home remodel and was given Matt's Pierce's name from 2 different business here in Evansville as someone who does it right. Of course, we've heard that before. I was already expecting to be dissapointed. On our first meet with him at our home for an estimate I was impressed. He knew his products, prices, what I wanted, my goals and understood I didn't give a blank canvas of just do it..money matters. This job was installing several rooms of engineered hardwood that had to match up with existing flooring. His measurements were almost on spot for ordering what we needed. Little or no waste at all and flooring was special order. His appreciation of product cost and no waste impressed me. The last contractor ordered 30% more than we needed and I couldn't return it, not his problem, I paid for it. He also left out things he wasn't going to do and didn't advise until midway through the job. I wasn't happy. I had already advised Matt I was going to insist on details because I failed to do last time and was taken advantage of. I watched as Matt hand cut small pieces to make them fit in perfect. As my husband told him..lol . I was picky like that. The entire job I never had to request that something be redone. He brought issues to me for my input instead of just doing it and that's what I got. He arrived when he said he would, put in a full day, cleaned up the area everyday. His crew was careful not to scratch walls or doors going in and out of home with materials and tools. His crew even went the extra mile to make sure our cats didn't get outside. He gave a very detailed estimate of what we were paying for and what he was going to do. His crew was outstanding. He ran into a couple of issues with floor we ordered being a different thickness and he resolved that issue without having to return it and start over. He brought issues to me and went out of his way to correct them even though not included in original estimate. I asked numerous questions about how and why and he stopped and explained in detail. The floors look fantastic, his price was more than fair and job was completed in a few days. We are so pleased with his work we have hired him to do a complete tear out and redo of our master bath.
